dr. christine hildebrand

Dr. Christine Hildebrand created Fresh Dental as a modern clinic focused on exceptional dental care. She graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. She is a graduate of the Kois Center for Dental Excellence and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the British Columbia Dental Association. Dr. Hildebrand’s friendly, approachable personality and genuine compassion create a positive dental experience for her patients. She is grateful to work with an amazing team and is proud of the high quality care that is the foundation of Fresh Dental.

dr. tara kean

Dr. Tara Kean was delighted to join the Fresh Dental Team in 2016, returning closer to her Hornby Island roots. She studied at Dalhousie Dentistry where she graduated in 2008 with the award for professional and compassionate patient care. Dr. Kean has additional training in oral surgery from Harvard and Columbia Universities. She completed a UBC Dental Residency where she worked in hospitals, rural and outreach clinics, and the BC Cancer Agency. Her experience combined with her calm, caring, and friendly approach to patient care makes her a valued member of the Fresh Dental Team.

Dr. Sheldon Glow is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, class of 1983. He has recently relocated to Campbell River, after practicing General Dentistry in Winnipeg and Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean, for the last 40 years. Sheldon has held a number of positions during his professional career including Senior Stick, Alpha Omega Fraternity President, Editor of the Manitoba Dental Association Bulletin, President of the Winnipeg Dental Society, and Course Coordinator for the Practice Management and Ethics courses at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Manitoba. Dr. Glow has two children Josh and Sari, and loves to Scuba Dive, Hike, and Ski. Sheldon is excited and proud to be a new part of the Fresh Dental Team of Oral Health Professionals.

dr. kathryn purdon

Dr. Kathryn Purdon is thrilled to join the team at Fresh Dental. Originally from Smithers, BC, she completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Victoria before obtaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia. While at UBC, she was awarded for her commitment to community service and for providing comprehensive patient care. Kathryn is passionate about restorative dentistry and helping patients achieve their oral health goals. Outside of dentistry, you might catch Kathryn running the local trails or on the slopes of Mt. Washington.

Dr. Elizabeth Quiring (Eli) is thrilled to join the Fresh Dental team. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Manitoba College of Dentistry in 2023. During her schooling, Eli provided comprehensive and compassionate dental care at a community clinic in Winnipeg and in a remote community in Northern Manitoba. Hailing from Peru, Eli is fluent in Spanish, and she enjoys painting in her spare time. She looks forward to providing personalized care with an empathetic approach to each patient.
